Software and coding tools
The workshop that makes the books.
0rbit is not a signal tweet and a spreadsheet. It is a research engine, a fill model, and live software that share one idea of a fill. AI accelerates the coding. The founder still decides what is a lock.
Research
Scans that can fail
Walk-forwards, year splits, and holdouts that are allowed to kill an idea. A poke is not a lock. A lock is a frozen spec on a named tape with an honest fill flag.
Fills
One model
Shared helpers for entry, gap-through, chase, and stop re-anchor. The backtester and the live manager import the same rules so the seat cannot “improve” on the research.
Live
Seat software
Native brackets, flatten that cancels first, and a guard that refuses a second login while a book is trading. One close per trade. A dark tape sits out.
AI as a coder
Faster iteration. Same honesty bar.
The founder works with AI the way a desk works with a junior who types quickly and never gets to mark a fill. Agents write tests, rebuild walks, and keep the live path aligned with the engine.
What AI does not do: invent edge, pick a tape because it is convenient, or ship a number that only exists under a kind fill model.
The product of that loop is automated futures systems whose research claim is narrow enough to take live.
Faster iteration. Same honesty bar.
-
Lock presets and the scripts that reproduce them.
-
Fill audits that compare research to the live stop manager.
-
Paper HUDs sized at one micro until the live seat matches the lock.
-
Lease packages for the broker — not a public rule sheet.
